Arsenal is still negotiating a deal for Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino and has also been linked with Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez.

Chelsea is expected to officially announce the signing of Aaron Anselmino soon and continues discussions with Victor Osimhen, while Conor Gallagher is contemplating a move to Atletico Madrid. Manchester United is targeting both Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich, but they first need to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is reportedly a target for a busy West Ham.

Tottenham is reportedly interested in Dominic Solanke and has additional links to Jonathan David, Pedro Neto, and Eberechi Eze, while Emerson Royal is set to leave. Liverpool is still searching for their first signing under new manager Arne Slot. Stay updated with the latest transfer news, rumors, and gossip below!

  • Manchester United is set to increase their bid for Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
  • Antonio Conte’s threat to Napoli is seen as favorable for Chelsea.

Manchester United are continuing their efforts to secure both Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.

The Red Devils have prioritized the Bayern Munich duo as their main summer transfer targets following the acquisitions of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee.

However, discussions with the Bundesliga club have been slow, and there is significant competition for Moroccan right-back Mazraoui.

Recent reports from The Sun indicate that United has only proposed £51 million for both players, while Bayern Munich is holding firm on their asking price of £64 million.

Antonio Conte is already sounding a familiar note at Napoli, just under two months into his tenure.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the manager has given the club an ultimatum: secure a striker, midfielder, and winger within 48 hours, or he will resign.

If Conte follows through on his threat, Cristian Stellini is set to step in as his replacement.

This development could be advantageous for Chelsea, who are hoping to see Romelu Lukaku move to Napoli while Victor Osimhen joins them on loan.

Arsenal are reportedly targeting a surprising move for Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez.

Recent reports suggest uncertainty about the Argentine World Cup winner’s future at the Etihad Stadium. Chelsea has been mentioned as a potential suitor, with Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain also rumored to be exploring a possible transfer.

Arsenal are actively seeking a significant new striker this summer, and according to the Daily Mirror, they are now on high alert regarding Alvarez, closely monitoring his status at City.

Chelsea are optimistic that Victor Osimhen might reconsider his position on a loan move, and Antonio Conte’s dissatisfaction could be advantageous for them.

Discussions are ongoing between Chelsea and Napoli regarding a loan arrangement that would see Romelu Lukaku move to Naples permanently. However, Osimhen has thus far refused to consider a loan move.

Fabrizio Romano reported, “From what I understand, this situation isn’t likely to be resolved today, tonight, Monday, or Tuesday. It will take some time to determine the outcome of the negotiations between Napoli and Chelsea, as Osimhen and his agent currently have no interest in a loan move.

“Chelsea are aware that Napoli will continue pursuing Romelu Lukaku, and they expect talks to persist. The current obstacle is not Napoli, but rather the player himself. Napoli are willing to sell Osimhen, but he does not want to go on loan.”

Mikel Merino is eager to make a move to Arsenal and is expected to join the club soon.

After securing their first major signing of the summer, Riccardo Calafiori, Arsenal has shifted their focus to the Spanish midfielder, who played a key role in Spain’s European Championship victory.

Spanish outlet AS reports that Merino is excited about the prospect of joining Arsenal and is enthusiastic about relocating to London.

It is believed that Arsenal would need to pay approximately €30 million for a player who has only one year remaining on his contract with Real Sociedad in LaLiga.

According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the clubs have advanced recently, with only the final details of the deal remaining to be settled.
