The upcoming 3.3 update for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), scheduled for release on July 18, will bring new outfits, events, crates, spins, and an ocean-themed mode.

What’s New in the BGMI 3.3 Update
Ocean Odyssey Theme Mode
The BGMI 3.3 update features the Ocean Odyssey Theme Mode, allowing players to explore an underwater palace known as the Ocean Palace, a key drop location for this update. The Ocean Palace is situated in the Ruins and near the river by Mylta.
Players can access the Ocean Palace by swimming or using a water tunnel that quickly transports them to the site. This area is rich in loot for those who arrive.
### New Features in BGMI 3.3 Update
A new in-game item, the Trident, will be available in limited supply—only two on the map. This item enables players to create a water whirlpool on land. Additionally, the Ocean Palace contains four Poseidon Respawn Cards, allowing teams to respawn collectively.
Players can also ride a Stingray to navigate the map and trap opponents in water bubbles. Other features include water airdrops and blasters for attacking enemies. The Ocean Temple, which starts with closed gates, can be accessed by solving a puzzle, leading to loot from underwater caves and a portal to the center of the zone.
Furthermore, the mystery surrounding the octopus monster Krakken on Spawn Island will be revealed, and a thunder weather effect will be introduced in BGMI.
### Royale Pass A8
The Royale Pass A8, titled **Aquatic Quest**, will feature a range of ocean-themed weapon skins, outfits, and emotes, all offering UC cashback.
### UC Up Events, Supercars, Gold Spins, and X-Suit
The 3.3 update will introduce three UC Up events with additional UC rewards. Players can expect the addition of ten Lamborghini skins to BGMI, alongside three Gold Spins. A new X-Suit will also make its debut.
Launch Date for BGMI Update 3.3
The 3.3 update for BGMI is scheduled to be released on July 18. Below is the rollout timeline for the update:
- Android: July 18, from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- iOS: July 18, starting at 8:30 AM
- Track and field athlete Neeraj Chopra’s **Lucky Treasure** event will showcase a range of exclusive cosmetics that cannot be acquired again once obtained. Among the items is a suit themed around Neeraj Chopra, inspired by the Olympic gold medalist. Additionally, a special crate will be offered to commemorate Independence Day.
Bug Fixes
Krafton announced that the 3.3 BGMI update will address problems related to reviving teammates, healing, mecha operations, reloading, and driving.
