'Finally here' - Emile Smith Rowe explains why he left Arsenal as ex-Gunners star completes £35m Fulham

Emile Smith Rowe has expressed his excitement about “finally” joining Fulham following his departure from Arsenal. Fulham has secured Smith Rowe’s transfer for a fee that could reach £34 million ($44 million), with the English midfielder signing a five-year deal at Craven Cottage. At 24 years old, Smith Rowe has played 115 games for Arsenal and is thrilled about his move across London.
Smith Rowe dropped in the hierarchy under Mikel Arteta last season and had only three Premier League starts. Although he has earned three caps for England, he will be aiming to impress the new England manager with his performances at Fulham to earn a spot in the national team

Smith Rowe shared with Fulham’s website: “I’m thrilled to be here at last, and so is my family – it’s a great moment for us. I’m very excited and eager to start working with my new teammates. After hearing about the project, talking with the Manager, and seeing the current squad, I believe this is an exciting opportunity and the ideal next step for my career.”
