Lionel Messi makes more MLS history as he signs with Beats by Dre as brand ambassador - one year after gifting all his Inter Miami teammates custom pink version of iconic

Lionel Messi has become an official brand ambassador for Beats by Dre, just a year after presenting custom pink headphones to all of his teammates.

Messi has been with Inter Miami for a year.
He gifted Beats by Dre headphones to his new teammates.
He is now officially representing the brand.

A little over a year ago, Messi departed from Paris Saint-Germain to sign with Inter Miami, rejecting several lucrative offers in the process. After joining the Major League Soccer team, he presented each of his teammates with custom pink and black Beats by Dre headphones to match the team’s colors. Now, he will be showcased in the brand’s marketing campaigns, promoting its range of products while wearing customized earphones, headphones, and speakers.

WHAT LIONEL MESSI STATED
The Argentine World Cup champion and football icon expressed his excitement after officially signing with Beats by Dre: “It’s a privilege to join the Beats family. Music plays a significant role in my pre-game routine, and Beats has always been at the forefront of merging music and sports.”

THE BIGGER PICTURE
This is the first signing of an MLS player for Beats since the brand announced its partnership as the official consumer audio partner of the league earlier this year. Even in the later stages of his career, the 37-year-old remains a major attraction both on and off the field.

WHAT’S NEXT?
Messi, who is currently sidelined due to an ankle injury sustained during Argentina’s Copa America final victory over Colombia earlier this month, hopes to make a swift return to the pitch for Miami. His team’s next Leagues Cup match is scheduled for August 3 against Tigres UANL.
