In the warm-up matches before Real Madrid’s first La Liga game in a fortnight, 62,617 fans packed the NFL’s Carolina Panthers’ home stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, to witness Vinicius Junior make his maiden start. In the 19th minute, Dani Ceballos, a Spanish midfielder, gave Real Madrid a 1-0 lead with a right-footed goal into the bottom left corner.

In the 19th minute, Real Madrid took the lead 1-0 thanks to a right-footed goal into the bottom left corner by Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos.
