Here we go – Barcelona striker on the verge of joining La Liga club

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Vitor Roque, a talented player from Barcelona, is about to finish his loan transfer to La Liga opponent Real Betis.

According to the transfer expert, the 19-year-old will arrive in Seville tonight, and the loan switch will be completed and official within the following day.

Only eight months after joining Barcelona, Roque had fallen out of favor, and the team was keen to let him go because he didn’t have a spot in the lineup.

The striker insisted on joining Betis and has received his desire, despite reports that Barcelona preferred a permanent exit and even had an offer from Sporting CP in Portugal.

After spending the better part of this week engaged in intense talks, it appears that an understanding has been struck as the player is now on his way to Seville.

Although the precise terms of the agreement have not yet been made clear, it is thought to be a two-year loan agreement for Roque, as Romano claims there are several specific clauses.

On September 1, the young player is anticipated to make his team debut for Manuel Pellegrini’s squad against Real Madrid, one of Barcelona’s fiercest rivals.

Roque leaves Barcelona after making just 16 appearances in the second half of the previous campaign, during which he also scored two goals.

Barcelona is hoping that the Brazilian international finds his groove while on loan at Real Betis, given that he was signed for €30 million (with a further €31 million).

In this manner, the Catalans might choose to sell him permanently for a profit or elect to reintegrate him into the team when he returns.

However, Fabrizio Romano claims that the deal is completed, and we should anticipate an official announcement in the next day or so.

Vitor Roque, who has struggled at Barcelona since moving at the beginning of the year, will be looking to make an impression at Real Betis.

Already this season, Rivaldo has predicted that the young player will prosper in Betis and show Barcelona that they made a mistake in letting him go.

Dani Olmo’s registration at Barca won’t be greatly aided by Vitor Roque’s transfer. Barcelona has been eager to move the Brazilian, therefore they haven’t enrolled him for the current campaign yet.
