Abhishek embraces Neeraj.
A paparazzo posted a video of Abhishek Bachchan congratulating Neeraj on winning the silver medal in the men’s javelin throw final at the Olympic site. During the game, Abhishek was spotted hugging, shaking hands, and holding Neeraj’s face. They conversed briefly together as well. Lara had gone to the Olympics as well.
Regarding Neeraj’s victory
With a best throw of 89.45 meters, Neeraj was unable to keep his gold medal. Even though he did well on his second try, he struggled with four straight foul throws that kept him from taking home the gold.
He became the second male athlete from India to win two gold medals at the Olympics in a single event after the country’s independence. Red flags rendered Neeraj’s first and third efforts useless, and his remaining three attempts resulted in fouls. Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan took home the gold medal with a 92.97-meter throw.
